// video-based visitor counting

Understanding visitor flows instead of guessing.

A video recording of the area with the analysis on top: how many visitors come, where they linger, which zones work. The recording is made on site as part of the service, anonymous and without facial recognition. The result is reliable numbers to align space, layout and staffing with.

What the analysis does

A video turns into reliable numbers.

The basis is a normal video recording of the area, made on site by us. The analysis detects people anonymously, assigns them to zones and shows over time how visitors spread out, where they stop and which areas barely get noticed.

Analysed anonymously

No facial recognition and no identification of individuals. No emotion recognition and no biometric categorisation within the meaning of the AI Regulation. What gets counted are movements, not people with names. The recorded video is deleted after the analysis.

Zones and timeline

The area is divided into zones. For each zone the analysis shows occupancy, dwell time and peak times across the whole period.

No extra technology

The recording is made with a normal camera on site. Nothing is permanently installed, additional sensors are not needed.

Changes become measurable

Several recordings side by side show what a change to layout or offering really does.

Two scenarios are available as live demos. A click opens the demo at full size; a button there leads back to this page.

The analysis shows people in the frame, occupancy per zone and the progression over time, including peak value and total contacts.

Zones are placed freely on the respective area.
Key figures such as contacts, dwell time and peak can be read directly.

Who the analysis is for

For exhibitors and stand operators

  • Shows which stand areas attract visitors and where they just walk past.
  • The trade fair presence gets reliable numbers instead of impressions from stand duty.
  • Stand layout and staff planning can be aligned with real visitor flows.
  • The results work as a clear evaluation for management and team.

For venue and event operators

  • Occupancy and dwell time per zone across the whole period at a glance.
  • Peak times become visible; paths, areas and offerings can be tuned to them.
  • The recording is made on site, with no permanent installation and no additional sensors.
  • Several recordings side by side show what a change really does.

Technology and privacy

  • Anonymous analysis without facial recognition: movements and zones are counted, no personal profiles.
  • Set up GDPR-compliant, without external services.
  • The level of anonymisation follows the rules at the location; within the EU the strictest setting applies.

What the analysis does for you

Numbers instead of gut feeling

Decisions on space, layout and staffing rest on real visitor flows.

Peak times visible

When it gets busy and where, the timeline shows at a glance.

Zones in comparison

Which areas attract and which barely get noticed becomes measurable.

No new hardware

No sensor installation, no extra technology: the recording is made with a camera on site.

Impact provable

Before and after in comparison: what a change delivers is there in numbers.

Easy to present

The evaluation works directly as a basis for decisions for management and team.

How to get your own analysis

The demo shows the analysis on a sample video. For real use, whether trade fair stand, event or sales floor, we gladly work out the right setup:

Discuss the use case

You describe the area in question, whether trade fair stand, event or exhibition, and what you want to know.

Work out the setup

We plan recording, camera position and zones to match the area and configure the evaluation for your question.

Use the numbers

You receive the evaluation with key figures and timelines as a clear basis for your decisions.
